11 Preface ما كَذَبَ الفُؤادُ ما رَأىٰYusuf AliThe (Prophet?s) (mind and) heart in no way falsified1 that which he saw.“Heart” in Arabic includes the faculty of intelligence as well as the faculty of feeling. The impression conveyed was pure truth; there was no illusion in it.
