Sura 6
Aya 73
73

Mir Aneesuddin

And He it is Who created the skies and the earth in reality. And the day He says, “Be, “so it is. His word is the truth and His will be the authority the day it will be blown into the trumpet (or structure of the universe)1. Knower of the unseen and the seen and He is the Wise, the Informed. (P 6 ¾)
  • Sur: The word 'Sur' translated as trumpet, also conveys the meaning of form or structure and inclination or attraction. Therefore blowing into the 'Sur' could also convey the sense of increasing or decreasing the gravitational force in the whole universe which would collapse it to a point, or totally disperse it.
